Boyd Government
The Village of Boyd is governed by the village president and six trustees,
all of which are elected positions.
The Village board meets on the 2nd
Monday of each month at 7:00pm.
Board meetings are open to the public, and
the agenda is published in the Stanley Republican.
Village Board Meeting Agendas and Committee Meeting Agendas are
posted at the Village Hall,
Boyd Post Office, Northwestern Bank in Boyd,
and Denny's Bowl & Bar.
Agendas are posted at least 24 hours prior to
the meeting.

Police Protection: Police Chief Louis Eslinger
The village currently employs four part-time officers.

Public Works: Two full time employees operate the waste
water treatment plant and public water system.
Civil Defense / Severe Storm Signal: The village is
currently equipped with a severe weather signal system
which warns residents
of threatening weather. The system is tested on the first Monday
of each
month at 11:00am with a 2-minute, steady siren sound.
Boyd Area Chamber: is organized for the purpose of
advancing the commercial, industrial, agricultural, professional,
recreational, community betterment and civic interest of the Boyd area.
Meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of each month.
