C & N Footlockers, Inc was started in 1987 by Craig and Nancy

            Cornell (the "C" and "N") after leaving a company in a neighboring

            town that built footlockers.  Working out of the proverbial

            home-garage C & N produced about 380 footlockers that first year.

  
 

            As business increased there was not enough space to continue

            working out of the home-garage, and so C & N Footlockers

            decided to construct a building in the Boyd Industrial area

            (see above picture).
