Dear Stanley Parks Department:
Last summer, a number of people from my family spent a weekend at Chapman Park
for a family reunion.
We had a very enjoyable time, so my family returned for Memorial Day weekend.
I am so impressed with campground. The prices are so reasonable, the sites are
roomy, the bathrooms are clean,
the showers are warm, and the grounds are neat. Our kids (ages 2-6 ) enjoyed
both the swing set near the campsites
and the larger playground near the entrance to the park.
In a time when some things are are getting so expensive, all we want is to camp
at a reasonable rate.
We don't need Wi-Fi or Cable TV hookups or a water park, and we found exactly
what we wanted at Chapman Park.
I expected there to be a lot more people there this weekend. I'm not sure if
it's just a best-kept secret or what,
but we truly had an enjoyable time.
